March 26th - Last date to cancel test and get full refund. Request must be given in writing.
April 8th - Last date to cancel and get a refund minus a fee of $20.00 per exam cancelled

We invite you to attend Open House on Thursday, March 18. On this evening, we will introduce you to many course possibilities and share pertinent Heritage High School information for freshmen and sophomores. You'll be able to dialogue with department chairs and other staff regarding course selections, tour the new school and participate in our mascot selection process. Doors will open at 6:30pm. The North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics ( NCSSM ) is statewide residential magnet high school for academically talented juniors and seniors located in Durham , North Carolina. NCSSM offers students the opportunity to live in a community with others of similar intellect, interests, and aspirations. Interested students should take the SAT-I on October 10, November 7, December 5 or January 23, 2010 of their sophomore year. Only official SAT-1 scores will be accepted. Applicants must use NCSSM Admissions code, 2241 in Block 11A when completing the SAT-1 registration form to ensure test results are mailed directly to NCSSM. Students should use KHS’s school code (342124 ) in Block 5. Applicants are encouraged to apply online at www.ncssm.edu . Applications will be available by mid-October, 2009. For more information, please contact the NCSSM Admissions Office at admissions@ncssm.edu . All NCSSM applicants will be required to attend one of three Discovery Dates, assigned by the Office of Admissions: Saturday, February 13, Saturday, March 6, or Saturday, March 13, 2010 . Students chosen as finalists will be invited for a campus visit on May 1, 2010 .
