FLA is an exciting program that covers a wide variety of topics that will help students understand leadership positions in government, business, civic groups, and the community. The program will provide educational experiences in leadership development, communication skills, problem solving, and team building. Students will also demonstrate responsible citizenship through active school involvement and community service projects. Students in FLA will complete the program with skills that will put them in position to make a difference and be true leaders. All current 9th grade students are eligible to apply for the leadership academy. Approximately 30-40 students will be selected to participate in monthly seminars, field trips, and other learning experiences. Knightdale High School
Directions to KHS:
Take the I440/Beltline to US 64 East (Business) to Knightdale. Turn left onto Old Knight Road. Go about ¼ of a mile past Forestville Road and the school will be on the left. Driving directions to KHS are also available through Yahoo Maps, Google Maps, and MapQuest.
