The purpose of Army Junior ROTC is to motivate young people to be better citizens, promote academic excellence, and encourage a healthy drug and alcohol free lifestyle. The program is graduated into four Leadership, Education, and Training Levels (LET levels).

The curriculum includes: marching, drill and ceremonies, military customs and traditions, map reading, first aid, military history, oral and written communications skills, leadership, and citizenship.
