The Mission of the Academy of Environmental Studies is to prepare students to make knowledgeable career choices through work-based experiences and applications of current environmental issues. Any rising 9th or 10th grader can join the Academy of Environmental Studies. Students should pass their 9th-grade science class with a “C” or better. Teacher recommendations will also be considered when applying.
