School Counseling Excellence

In 2024, 138 schools in 25 states received the Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) designation from the American School Counselor Association. These schools were honored during a special ceremony at the ASCA Annual Conference in Kansas City, Mo., in July for making an exemplary commitment to their school counseling programs.

Knightdale High School's school counseling team was one of 16 schools to earn Re-RAMP status in 2024. 

The RAMP designation recognizes schools committed to delivering a comprehensive, data-informed school counseling program and an exemplary educational environment. RAMP applications are reviewed once a year by a panel of school counseling professionals, who assess the school counseling programs in 10 different areas of expertise.
